At present access to Koh Kood is limited to either an internal flight from Bangkok to Trat, or by road and then boat. Whilst this is a very green and pleasant journey, tourism numbers are a lot lower than they could be, or indeed would be had the island of already had its own airport. And as we all know with the arrival of an airport will come the arrival of huge increases in those tourist numbers.
